12 Gauge, patent triggerplate action, side-by-side shotguns

This matched pair of guns were originally delivered four months apart in 1893 to the 7th Viscount Melville to mark his coming-of-age 21st birthday.

Marked with Patent Use Numbers 453 & 475, its the 453rd and 475th patent-guns made in the Round-Action’s 141 year history. The guns were delivered with 29in barrels, but have been sleeved to 27in.
