New Inventory - John Dickson & Son Round-Action, made in 1895
12 Gauge, patent triggerplate action, side-by-side shotgun

The gun is in fine condition inside and out with full coverage Sumner fine scroll engraving and 'John Dickson & Son' 'Patent' banner engraved on the sides of the action, and the detonators have been carved with oak leaves. The action is fitted with cocking indicators and is fitted with a well figured stock finished by 1/2 inch horn extension. New 28 inch chopper-lump steel barrels have been fitted by Dickson's, which benefit from 2 3/4 inch chambers.
Provenance
Delivered as a single gun to a merchant in Edinburgh in September 1895. 129 years later and the original owners initials are still on the stock oval.
