John Dickson and Son Round-Action made in 1897
12 Gauge, patent triggerplate action, side-by-side shotgun

£14,500

This classic Round-Action was delivered as a single gun in December 1897 with 28in steel barrels. Marked with Patent Use Number 555, its the 555th patent-gun made in the Round-Action’s 140 year history. The action has the traditional fine scroll engraving of the period but with distinct Oak Leaf carved fences and is fitted with a well figured stock. Overall, the gun is in excellent condition.
We are currently fitting a new pair of 29in chopper-lump barrels with 2 3/4in chambers, ensuring many years of safe use and allowing the gun to access a wider selection of ammunition.
