NEW INVENTORY - John Dickson & Son Boxlock, made in 1961
12 Gauge, A & D Ejector, side-by-side shotgun

This 'Waverley' model boxlock gun, with a slightly heavier action, has border and partial scroll engraving and is fitted with a plain but strong stock. The barrel bores are bright and clean and measure extremely well and the gun also has the added benefit of 2 3/4in chambers from new.
To prepare the gun for sale we have given it a full service strip and clean, re-blacked the barrels and furniture, polished the stock and fore-end and cleaned out the chequering.
A great way into modern vintage Dickson ownership and with a choke alteration the gun can fire standard steel cartridges.
Provenance
This 'Waverley' model boxlock gun was built as a stock item in 1961. It was completed and supplied directly to Dickson's by William Howell Gunmakers of Price Street, Birmingham.
