Pair of John Dickson & Son Round-Actions, made in 1900/1903
12 Gauge, Patent triggerplate action, side-by-side shotguns
£25,000
We are very pleased to offer this beautiful pair of Round-Action guns that were built as a matched pair, the No. 1 in 1900 and the No. 2 in 1903.
The actions have the classic Sumner scroll engraving from the period which is crisp and retaining some remaining colour hardening. The guns are fitted with highly figured stocks, which is unusual for the period, and they still conform to their original dimensions and choking. The guns have beautiful 29in damascus barrels which measure very well in the bore and walls.
Good, clean pairs of these guns with 29in barrels are very hard to come by, so please get in contact if these are of interest.
